So many exciting things have been happening at the library this summer. Our summer reading programs have been very successful. April 19, 2007 was Illinois Library Day. Several Hundred Library Professionals descended upon the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield, Ill. On this day, my self included. My day started at 7:30 am in the morning for “breakfast with your legislator”. Sad to say none of the legislatures that represent our library attended. Our district is located in Cass, Morgan, Menard and Sangamon County.
